    Master,slave,secondary, which for the CD-Rom?

OK, the hard drive is connected to the Primary-MASTER IDE connector on the mobo..fine

Now, should I connect my only CD-Rom to the Primary-SLAVE connector or use the Secondary-MASTER or SLAVE. Which connector on the mobo is optimal for gaming.

You should connect the cd to secondary master.Always try to keep the hard drives separate from the cd drives.
When you have them on the same controller the hd runs at the slower cd rate.
P.S. next post in the proper forum(Tech)
