    It depend on the game and how much RAM your video card or 3D accelerater has. I play Q2 at 1024x768 dpi with a 16mags of video rams with 75+ frame/sec.

    I do believe that Starcraft is dependant on desktop resolution?If you set your desktop to 800x600 then it should run starcraft in that resolution.

    Are there higher resolutions possible for Starcraft?

    I don't want to see it in 640x480 all the time. And how about Dune2000?

    No, u cant change the resolution in the game, both starcraft and dune2000
