    Half Life major mouse problems

    I have H-L ver 1.0.0.5 up graded to 1.0.0.9
I have no control over my game I move the mouse and about 2sec's later the view starts spinning like crazy. When I push the fire button it takes about 2sec's or so to shoot. Totally unplayable I've tried everything all versions 1005,1008,1009 none work. I had this problem when I first got the game and somehow fixed it and was able to play with no problems with any configuration. I can't seem to remember what I did to fix it.
    Thank you

    Hey EXrI8,

    Greetings from game world.

I just purchased this game. It's really fun. Here's what I noticed when I played this game using the Direct3D with my Riva TNT:

Delayed responses with the mouse control
    Exactly what you experienced.

I had to change from the Riva TNT's Direct3D to the Voodoo2's OpenGL. Once I made these changes to my accelerator options, it cleared this delayed mouse problem.

You might want to check and see if you have access to the latest drivers for the video cards as well. That may also help.

    Should I go to K6-2/450MHz or K3?

Just an idea, try unplugging your joystick/joypad, sometimes they can cause such problems.
