Daikatana demo

I have a Celeron 400, with 64Mb PC100, G200 AGP, Monster 3D 2.

Is this sufficient to run the Daikatana demo? I tried to run the demo, and to play the game on MPlayer, but the initial options screen runs at about 1 frame a second, and the game runs at even less.

Any ideas?

Dunno why you're having so much trouble. It should run alot better than that. If you can run Half-Life, SIN, or Kingpin without any undo problems, you should be able to run this game as well.

I dunno whether u did enable the hardware acceleration for this game...but, 1 frame / sec is way too slow, even for software rendering with ur machine and specs....

It seems the game was trying to use OpenGL on my G200 and not my Monster 2. As soon as I switched it to use the Monster 2, it was perfect.
