One of my machines had a hic-up I guess, and now I'm getting this message when trying to access the buff-out.rc5 file:

dnetc v2.8010-463-CTR-00071214 for Win32 (WindowsNT 5.0).

Timeout waiting for buffer unlock.
[Apr 29 22:32:25 UTC] Buffer seek/read error. Partial packet discarded.

I renamed the buff-out file to .bak, restarted the client, and everything's working smoothly, but how can I salvage what work has already been done, (in the now named buff-out.bak file)?
I've already tried copying the file to a floppy, renaming it back to buff-out.rc5, and importing it to another machine, but still get the same "buffer is locked" message.
I've looked on DNet's FAQ's but unless I've missed it, didn't find how to recover the completed blocks.

Thanks in advance,
ThiemeMD
