I just upgraded my 2 rc5 machines within the last week...

p2 350 oc 466 ----> celery 366 @ 566 (will do 616 when around 10C with l2 off)

p 120MMX ----> AMD k6-2 400

hmmm, wonder how long i can hold off until the next upgrade?? maybe the summer...

I had to put the alpha on the k6-2 and put a peice of **** pentium fan and heatsink on the celeron as the k6-2 got up to 60C under 100% load... My celeron runs at 48 with the crappy heatsink and the amd runs the same with an alpha!!! I had no idea these suckers got so hot!!! I tried overclocking the amd without raising voltage to no avial, all I tried for was 16 extra MHz... Now I get 1598 kkeys on the celeron under linux and 770 on the k6-2 under doze...
