I'm planning to dump SETI & I've got 1600 hours. Which group at Sysopt wants them?
I may or may not dump it, but I'm working solo with a AMD, so I'm also slowlo....
unfortunately that is the case with amd. for me it is heating my processor to unhappy temps so i have had to take it off-line until i can get me some cooling stuff. if its bogging your comp down so much that it does not work well, then you should dump it, but if it is because you feel that your computer could get better stats somewhere else, then reconsider why you got with seti in the first place.
Actually, I wanted to assist a good effort. But since they are (maybe) recycling, they don't need me. I think shared computing is very, very cool & potentially useful-(perative word here being useful)!
Gene-mapping or something would be nice..
