Stir up some RC5!

I was wondering, not trying to copy Anandtech so much, but what if we as a team start using a banner on our personal stat's page and also have some sort of title also on our listing.

Just an idea to stir up some more RC5 interest and new recruits.

I think we could all put a link to our RC5 page, using the image above.

What do you all think?

If Sysopt Doesnt Care, Id be glad to add that link, like to all my posts you mean?. Heh, and Sysopt, You might consider a small RC5 "Getting Started" Article with step by step instructions on how to go from nothing to crunching for sysopt through the proxy. Just a thought.

Yeah I'm proud to be cracking RC5 for Sysopt, but I think the navigation and instructions could use some tweaking.
I had to trawl about 60 days of posts to find the proxy IP and Virus' stats page (which is great!). The link from the Sysopt team RC5 homepage just didnt seem to be there, unless its a java thing, in which case mine is disabled because my sysadmin is paranoid . Or I could be stoopid (more likely)

A few people have asked how to get from junior member to member. What if sysopt put an RC5 icon or something next to the poster's
name to indicate to all that they were an active participant in the project. Then people would ask "How do I get that cool looking icon next to my name?" Just a thought to stimulate their curiosity and something they would just have to have.

I think there are some good ideas here. I've just started on TeamSysOpt and am already quite excited about it. Maybe something will develop.

I have my Java disabled too...

If you want the logo on your page too, then place the following as your motto:

<A HREF="http://www.sysopt.com/rc5team.html"><img src="http://www.bkehoe.com/images/rc5ani2.gif"><BR>Team Sysopt/Tweakit</A>

Thats it!

Applying a certain hack to the UBB - can be found by searching through the piles of posts on the UBB Hacking forum which can be found from the main UBB homepage will allow user icons, so if you crack RC5 you could get a RC5 icon put below your name.

BTW my stats page is at http://stats.distributed.net/rc5-64/...php3?id=190148

I goofed and screwed my page for a moment, but got "Team Sysopt/Tweakit" to fit under the logo. The code above will place it there for you too.

I would like to add a RC5 icon to my name, though!

Well all someone with FTP upload/download access to the server (hint) could just modify, I think the ubbmisc.cgi and the library2 .pl file by following certain insructions from the UBB Forums so that the icon feature would be added.

If anyone wants to know where to ask or look around to addones for their UBB take a look at http://www.scriptkeeper.com/cgi-bin/...=10&LastLogin=

We outta have everyone place "Team SysOpt/Tweakit" on their name display, and have everyone place the logo as their moto.

Hey Joel, you have cracked 13 times more blocks tham me.

Is it me or are the Up and Down arrows gone from the d.net stats pages?

I used to love those arrows and the informative text telling me how much I'd gone up or down.

This is all I get now:
