Seti

Just wondering how many of you are using Seti@home? I keep my system up and running all of the time now with it. I knock out a set in about 40 hours. (oooOOOOoooohhhh ) I wasn't expecting such a turnout when I got the program but have heard alot about it since I started running it.

i was doing it until i read an article (i forgot where) that said that seti was just recycling all their blocks to people, and like, it was basically worthless to be searching thru all the blocks, so i switched to rc5. i used to do a seti block in about 8 hrs, tho

Switch to rc5 and join the sysopt team. I used to run seti but it turned into a lame duck.Rc5 is more fun and the new sysopt stats page is just too cool!

Thanks for the advice. I read up on the reason I am so slow. i thought it was fast. Before it took much longer when I had 128MB. I will try RC5!
