rc5 cli client
How do I configure the client to send blocks to dist.net? I have it set for the sysopt pproxy now but just wondered.

On the GUI version,
simply check the box in the network tab for "automatically select a Distribi....keyserver"

I know that. I changed to the 2.7112.444b CLI client cause everybody said it was a little faster-but it's harder to set up!

Well, according to Dnet, the current GUI version will be the last version. They want users to use the CLI version, and will be making the install and configuration easier.
read here for more info:

I will be installing it today and see if any changes have been made, yet.

Read my original question. How do I set the CLI client for dist.net instead of sysopt's pproxy? Or what is dist.net's IP address and port #.

Why would you want to do this? Virus went to a lot of trouble to set up the pproxy, and you get stats that are updated every half hour as opposed to dnet's once a day. Also having our own pproxy in a way unifies our team.

Because I got paranoid! I've fetched/flushed to d.net for about 6mths. and wasn't too thrilled about changing my routine. I'm comfortable with this new client now and will change all my clients to dump to sysopt's pproxy. Thanks virus-that answers my question.

1. Right click on the rc5des widow.
2. Goto configure in the popup menu.
3. Goto Buffer and Buffer Update Options or Network and Communication Options.
4. Goto Keyserver<->client connectivity options.
5. Set Automatically select a d.net keyserver to yes.
