New rc5 cli client

I installed the 2.7112.444b cli client and I don't like it! I had to read too much to get it running. I'll be reading for another week before I'm comfortable with it.I hope it's faster than the older,"nicer" client or I will put it to sleep and install the old one.
Ahh--Felt good to ***** about something.
Now that that's done, how do you set it to auto-start at startup? I've got to have that option or a couple of my dumb buddies will forget to fire it up and I'll have to get a bucket of ***-whip to pour on em.

Changed my mind-I kind of like it-it's faster! Have a better attitude after some sleep. How do I set it to launch at startup?
Buffers size limited to 500-huh?
Ran the benchmark and it said my preferred block size should be 33. Should I change that or leave it at 31?

im assumming you are running windows...

create a shortcut to the CLI client in your 'startup' folder. right-click it and choose 'properties'. on the 'shortcut' tab of the window that opens up go to the drop-down menu for the 'run:' option and choose 'minimized' and click OK. then, the CLI client will start up minimized with windows....

I don't know if this would be a great idea, but how about setting them both to 31?

It's in the middle.

Well, the slow machine should to 2^28 blocks so if it crashes, it won't have to spend a 1/2 hour or more catching up.

As far as the 450, well, he can do what he wants. I do it both ways, but usually leave it on 2^31 for that fast of a machine.

Got it-muchas gracias! Now lets say I have a slow(166) computer and a fast comp.(450) and the benchmarks recommend that I set the block size to 28 and 33 respectfully. Can I swap buffers between the two?( sneaker network). If I set them the same wouldn't that prevent me from utilizing the fast comp's potential?
