Connection Settings
I recently had to switch back to a dial up connection from cable, and have a question. I have the client configured to autodial, but it dials after completing each block. How do I get it only dial when it reaches the buffer out limit? Is there a limit on number of blocks that can be downloaded at a time? I've never looked at this since I was on a permanent connection. DSL becomes available next month where I moved to so I just need to hang on till then. By the way, if you can avoid cox@home's cable internet service do. They have terrible customer service, and the routers are constantly failing. Thanks.

The buff-in.rc5 and buff-out.rc5 limit is 500. But if you have an older client, you can set it to 999.

Mod w/ an attitude
I set my connection to "modem dial up lurk" and it only fetch/flushes when I am online. I dial up manually.
