Seti blocks
This is the first time since I've had Seti that I've even bothered to pay attention to how long it takes for the Data Analysis.
I gather 100% of the 'Overall' bar = 1 block, is that correct?
My time to achieve 100% is 11 hrs/55 mins. Rounding up the minute.
Comparisons?

I get one bar done in about 9 hrs with my p3 560, 160 megs ram, but it takes about 30 hrs on my cyrix m2 with 64 megs ram..... both running windows 98

That is a very good time if you are running windows. I have a celeron at 500mhz 128 meg ram it takes 18-20 hrs per block in 98, 8 -10 hrs in Linux. What are the specs on your computer?

I'm running Win98, PIII 450 @527, 256mg ram. Lots of open windows, and apps running in the background too, which probably makes some difference.

I'll take two... CPU's
Ive got 81 blocks total and 821 Hr's cpu time. Thats averaging about 10.2Hrs. I also run a lot of apps. If my PC is on, it's because I'm playing Q3 or working on it or browsing. Not much free CPU time for seti.
