PCI steering
A new problem, for me anyway: conflicts arising after fitting a SCSI card for CDR. It seems the Iomega Zip - functioning previously and happily on a parallel port, now thinks it's on the SCSI, refuses to daisy-chain with my parallel scanner, and the only fault I can identify is on "IRQ-holder for PCI steering". I have looked at the relevant settings but can find nothing obviously amiss.
Is this a peculiar "issue" (as Microsoft calls foul-ups) on W98 Second Edition? Or is the solution to my difficulty staring me in the face?
Thanks for any interest/replies/guidance.

Try completely removing the equipment and all drivers. Reboot without the device connected, then shutdown and reinstall per the manufacturers instructions.
