Disappeared off contest list?
Hey, Spdsk8r, Virus:
I signed up for the contest quite a while ago (at least a week before Aug. 1) and figured that all was well since I appeared on the list. Now I've disappeared (I was listed as jc363). It looks like Virus trimmed off all the people who hadn't signed up...
Did my entry never go through? Or did I simply catch the site at an awkward moment?
Thanks,
Jeana

Sorry about the mix up. I just got the list from spdsk8r today. When I aplied it. Most of the email addresses didn't match up and I didn't have enough time to post a message about it. What happened is that spdsk8r forgot to include a rc5 email feild on the sign up form. Since many ppl don't use their real email address for d.net.
I have figured out most of them except three. Yours was one of them. Here is the list of emails that didn't match up. With the email address I guessed they matched up with.
terranova15@earthlink.net
webmaster@bkehoe.com - rc5@bkehoe.com
rc5project@hotmail.com
ashburn@home.com - ashburns@earthlink.net
jeanhee.chung@yale.edu - jc363@pantheon.yale.edu
tgsnyder@cnidr.org - tgsnyder@gies.com
vincavec@netzero.net - vincavec@pobox.com
aholmes@harley.fcmr.forestry.ca
If I got it wrong or I couldn't find a match. Email me at j.macgowan@cableregina.com with your mailing email address and your rc5 email addresss. Also if you signed up for the contest and you were not in the stats and you were not listed above. It would be because you haven't submited any blocks since the 1st.

Sorry,
I tried to use the form info that was submitted, but it wouldn't show up from people that submitted their info from IE - Only Netscape worked!?

We should have done it properly with a little cgi script.
It would put all the names into a file on a server, and also email each entry to you, with no mail windows popping up when you click submit.
Anyway, its running now, and Virus figured out most of them.
