Assimilation on full, scotty!
Just added two computers to the cause today.
IBM PII 300 Thinkpad
HP Netserver LC3 Dual PII450 (for 1 month)
How do ya like them apples?
Just added a C466, C366, and M2 366 at work the other day! As soon as I get a floppy drive at home, I'll dump the blocks... It should be a LOT!
Current systems cracking for email@example.com:
Total Mhz: 2054
Possible Cracking Power: 5.73Mkeys/sec
Still assimilating more! Let's get cracking people!!!
spdsk8r - I haven't heard from you. Email me or ICQ me (6665865) at work if you are going to use the contest page or not.
How well do Pentium Pros work at cracking code. I'm collecting parts to build my pentium pro system now. So far I've got the mother board, video card, and I'm bidding on the processor now (200mhz 256k L2 cache). More than likely I'll load Linux on it and use it as a network server in my home.
The Pentium Pro 200 cracks at about 400KKs if I remember from the one I was running a while back. This is with it running 24/7. So, that means it makes about 120 countable blocks per day on a 24/7 schedule.
I got the processor for $34 + $7 shipping. Should be here in about 10 days. Looking for hardrive, memory, and CDROM,now. Got a fulltower case located that I can get brand new for $20.
Just an update on the components I've gotten for my new computer. So far I have the motherboard, processor, sound card, 56K modem
(It's a hard modem so it should work with linux, video card, and an AOPEN full tower case. So far it's only cost me about $250 and all the parts are brand new except the processor (it's a refurb with a 90 day warranty)
Mod w/ an attitude
Just for your info grizco and cwizard:
My PPro-200/512K cache system overclocked to 233 MHz is cracking RC% at 640K/sec. Not too shabby for a 2 1/2 yr. old processor.
My PII-450 overclocked to 527 is cracking RC% at 1.46M/sec.
That's good. I have a P2-266 running as a Novell server running the client as an NLM. It is cracking at .746 MKS. That's pretty good considering the server function.
Work Cel350 assimilated to the cause.
Home Cel400@500 coming soon.
Sorry they can't run 24/7 but my previous 1800 blocks will hopefully be credited to Sysopt next stats refresh
I just finished setting up my Celeron 366 (550) BE6, so my keyrate should go up a little at least. Now if I can just get my brother to get my spare PII300, memory, and hard drive out of his work server, I'll get a second system going. Maybe even a third, I do have this BH6 with a celeron 300 (450) here, just need some more PC100 memory.
