New Version of SETI = Much Faster?
I downloaded version 1.05 of seti@home, and found my data units to move much faster. My units used to take 50-60+ hours (on a P2 233 64 MB RAM). Doing nothing different (running in background, as I always have) I have a data unit 75% done and its only taken 24 hours! Anyone else finish units faster? I will post the final number as soon as the unit is done. Did this new version do something significant or did my computer suddenly change over night?

Nevermind, I answered my own question. I swear Seti@home cut the size of work units in half! (most likley due to the number of people now working on their project). When I downloaded my last unit it was only 320k when before I remember it had been 640k.
