    Just uploaded page...

I finally got my page about the RC5 cracker I'll be setting up...

    http://www.execpc.com/~spdsk8r/
    -Main Page

    http://members.tripod.com/~crack_rc5/
    -Mirror Site

I'm going to be doing something similar to the Warpcore project and bkehoe's, but hopefully more powerful

Look through the site, let me know what you think - remember, I made the page in less than an hour so it's probably got a few things I need to work on.

Also, like it says in the sponsor section, if you know of any good ones, let me know - the last 2 sponsors never paid me! I'm going to need the Sysopt members to help me accomplish this so I'll need everyone I can get to click the banners once I get them up and contribute to the project! I CAN'T DO THIS ALONE!

I just signed up for CDNOW and Amazon's Associate program, so if anyone ever wants to shop from either of these site, please go through my site!

--I'll be uploading the sponsor pages tonight.

I make 10-20% on every item you buy! 100% of the profits will be put towards building a Super Cracking System. I'm hoping to get somewhere between 40 and 50Mkeys/sec when it's completed so I need your support.

50Mkeys/sec - that's over 16k blocks per day for team Sysopt!

    Hey, mine isn't anything yet.

Do you have a rack built yet.

The estimated total capacity of mine is 15 motherboards - definatly 11, and if I get enough donations there will be 30 celerons running at at least 458, maybe get some 466 celerons and o/c them more, warpcore is 24 celerons @ 504, 464 - you must have something huge in mind - let us in on it.

I have nothing OFFICIALLY planned yet, but I'm thinking somewhere around 20,000 - 25000Mhz

    - about 40 C466's @ 583 or 525
    - 20 Dual Celeron mobo's

This is all just what I'm hoping for though - I can't do any of it without the support of the Sysopt members!

It's going to take a lot of donations, support by clicking on banners and shopping at CDNOW and Amazon - plus whatever I add in the future, and time to finish the project. When it's finally finished it's going to be amazing though.

    Hi,
You got your Amazon ID?, I've been waiting over a day now for it!

Sounds impressive. Hehehe, if we could get them both finished, or partially finished by a certain date, and firethem up at exactly the same time - 00:00GMT, SysOpt wouldmake a huge jump in the daily the next day.

If we want that, we will have to get the support of all SysOpt members. maybe a mail to each one would letthem know, if they don'tmonitor the forums. I bought a mailing list program a while back, maybe I'll put it into operation. If you want me to send out a mail on behalf of you e-mail it to me and I'll send it out.

Also I'll alert you to any offers I come across, maybe you could do the same.

    Enough for now,
    Bye,
    Brendan

How about a simple email explaining what the RC5 contest is and why we need the support, a link to both of our sites, and a link to the Sysopt RC5 FAQ.

That was something like what I had in mind.

Well if they're cracking RC5 I'm sure they know what it is.

What I had in mine was an e-mail explaining what the "RC5 Crackers" will be doing, why we need their help, what they could do to help, and the link?

Ok, I just updated both pages - the main entrance and the mirror site - both now have an updated sponsor section. There are now 3 sponsors:

    1. CDNOW
If you ever order anything from CDNOW, please enter through my site - 10-15% of what you pay for your order will go towards the RC5 Cracker

-hey, why not? If you're going to spend the $$ anyway why not make some of it help Sysopt!

    2. Amazon.com
Just like CDNOW (CD's, tapes, records, movies, DVD's, and books!)

-Same as before - Please enter through my site and help Sysopt!

    3. There is an adult section...

If you are over 18 and aren't offended, please click the banner. You don't need to buy anything or pay for a membership, just click it! I get 3 cents per click (hey! it adds up!)

EVERYONE - PLEASE click this once everyday! You can have one unique IP per day that counts.

THANK YOU everyone for your support! I couldn't do it without you!

I stopped by to help you out and clicked on your sponser. I noticed that just going to the page may not do the trick. They still log the referring site until you fully enter the site. i.e. once you go to the page sent by clicking on the banner, you may need to click on the enter button too.
    After that it stops tracking.

Hmm, ok I'll add a note on the page about fully entering the site...

Do you know of any other good sponsors?

    Also,
I was doing the math with your sponser, and since we have only approx 500 members with 3 cents a click, that is only $15 dollars a day max if EVERYONE clicks on the sponser. You might try putting up many pay per click sponsers. even 4 of them could net $60 a day max for team Sysopt. Put up a lot of them, and I'll do my best to drain the advertising revenue from those sites! I urge everyone to support this, we are just about to reach a plateau on the overall rankings unless something grand happens. This could be it!

I'll put a few more up - most of the ones I find pay per sign up though.

The last sponsor I used was Cyberthrill - They owed me over $1000 for one month and I NEVER got the check!

BTW, don't forget - bkehoe is working on a similar project! www.bkehoe.com

    Again to everyone else-

PLEASE support this project, if you'd like to donate anything (CPU's, RAM, mobo's, NIC's, cash - ANYTHING!) please let me know!

    spdsk8r@execpc.com

There's a list of things on my site that I'm looking for. I hope we can get the kind of inthusiasm that the Warpcore project did over at Anandtech! I have no money whatsoever, so I need donations and sponsors to keep this thing alive!

Remember - Even older parts can help...

    486 CPU's
    SIMMS
    10MB NIC's
    anything will work!

Ok, I just updated the adult sponsor section.

    There's 3 different sponsors now:

    1. pays $.35 per unique click
    2. pays $.13 per unique click
    3. pays $.05 per visit of the page - the visitors don't even need to click anything, it automatically gives me credit
