Hi,
Well plans fell a bit behind today.

You'll be glad to hear that I have the block server set up and serving blocks fine.

Its a 25MHz AMD 386, 6MB RAM, 4.3GB Seagate HDD (well its slow and I don't need it), 1MB Graphics, 10MBs network card and RedHat 5.2

Now we need to look for a name so make your suggestions here.

The site fell behind, but I have the basic layout done now and the pictures taken. I will be moving the 386 out to the room inwhich therack is in shortly.

How many computers will the server be hosting? And how fast are they?

Well its handling it fine for my 2 computers at the moment - and it quickly server the blocks out.

As of now, there are no motherboards set up in the rack. , but there should be soon - after I get the site up.

Is this like a Warpsnore type of thing your setting up?

You're really skimping on the block proxy server. I've got a 486 100 and a P90 siting here collecting dust. But it would cost too much to send one out to ya. As soon as I get a hub, i'll be using them.

Hey, thats nice. Will add a donations section to the page before I upload it. Just trimming down the pictures now (took them at max resolution by accident) and thinking what would make a nice page background.

Well my server won't be doing too much - just serving blocks, while the warp(s)core server has the clients booting off it.

I did a bit of research and came across a site on which you can put Linux on a floppy, with space for the RC5 client!

I had bought a 486 motherboard with a 66MHz IBM processor for $8, but in the suitcase something jammed agains't the processor heatsink, and when I opened the suitcase there was the heatsink after comming off, with the processor attached and I don't have a small enough solder iron to fix it.
