    When is the RC5-64 contest over?

    just wondering how long i have, because I really need that motherboard...

    It could be over in 10 minutes or 10 years! No one really knows... to complete all 100% of the blocks at the rate we're going now it will take 9-10 years, but that doesn't mean it will take that long. It all depends which key is the correct one! Keep going, our team needs all the help we can get!!!

    sorry, i meant when is the Sysopt grand opening contest over. i've already joined the team, but want to know how long I have before the winners are drawn.

    The contest can't end until individual team member stats are up. After another couple of days, the day those stats are up, we'll end it. We are somewhat concerned about bugs (such as the one reported in Nugget's plan today http://n0cgi.distributed.net/cgi/dne...gi?user=nugget ), but we want to get this over with as soon as possible so as soon as they can get team member stats to us, we'll do the calculations, and run the random contest winner program on the data file.

    It's all up to Nugget now.
