    Router and IRC

    I just installed a Linksys BEFSR41 Cable Router. I am having problems connecting to IRC servers now. I am using Pirch98, Anyone know what I'm supposed to configure to get IRC working?

    Got it to work sorta by disabling DHCP and forwarding port 113 and 6660-7000 but it takes forever to connect to irc server. Does anyone know of any other ports to forward or anything else I need to configure for Pirch to work DCC and all?

    I don't think that you need to forward anything but port 113.

    why did you disbale DHCP? all you should have to do is forward it to port 113 like zskill said
