Wingate & win98/2000 Inet sharing?
Hi I just installed win2000 in my now dual os system (win98se&win2000) and i am having
difficulties with getting the win2000 wingate client up and running.
I Don't know why, because if I open Inetexplorer it shows up in the administrator window but the page doesn't load.
The Server is also a win98se machine with
wingate 3.05 installed and it works perfectly if i run win98 on my pc.
If anyone has any clue or piece of advice it would be most welcome.

I had a problem similar to yours and for the life of me I can't remember what the problem was... I should call Mr. Deerfield! It's crazy that I used to work with him before he left to form his company. Anyways, you might wanna call their tech support, they are very receptive I've heard. They are a small company and have friendly people working there.
If I can remember what I did I will post again. Unfortunately I don't use WinGate anymore, I use Proxy from www.analogx.com

Did you install the Win NT version of WinGate for the Win 2000 system?
I run it fine here on my Win2K systems.
