    Win2K Pro - router?

    Task:
Setting up one W2K computer to take care of internet connecions from two other computers. Virus controls, fileserver and other normal tasks.

Now, where do I start? What do I need to make this machine deliver internet to the other machines. I'm thinking of using two NIC:s in the server (easiest?) but I need some kind of software? Or is there something integrated in W2K?

If you have Win2K it comes with the ICS feature and you will not need any other software. You will however need a hub since you are connecting two computers to the "Host". I am using a Linksys 5 port Workgroup hub and it works great. You will need 2 Nics in the "host" and 1 in the others. Once you get all of the Hardware in place you need to share the NIC connected to the internet, then set the IPs and Gateways for each of the other nics.
