    New NIC

    I got a new NIC card today, Installation went without a hitch, but every time I try to access the network, I get the error tha the network is not accesable. So I use the "find a computer" option, and low and behold, there is my computer, but when I double click on it, it tells me Im not logged on. Anyone know whats goin on? Device manager sees the NIC, Ive got the tcp/ip configured,(and file&printer sharing enabled) PLEASE HELP

    are U using winbloze 98,nt ,2000? make sure your logged in as the correct profile. im asssuming 98. try removing nic from device mgr and reinstalling. if youR on a network, go to another workstation and seE if they see you.
