logon automatically in windows

i just recently set up my first network at home with 3 pcs all using win98se. every time i start any of them up tho - it prompts for a user name/password - and i just hit enter (without entering any password) and then windows continues to load. its not a big deal, but i remember seeing somewhere the option to "auto login to windows" or somethin like that, and i was wondering if someone could help me find it again, or knows of some other way to get rid of that prompt. thanx!

Install tweakui and then have it auto logon to the network instead of windows.

If you are running 98se, then you can set it up so that you can have autologon. If you want you can use tweakui or you can click on passwords in the control panel menu an set it to say that all users want the same preferences and settings for windows logon.

Also besides all of the posts that are above this one there is another way to remove the logon window.

In the win98 CD in the directory: \tools\mtsutil there is a file called autolog.inf just right click on it and select install. Now the logon window will no longer bother you.
