    SyGate 3.1 -- be careful

Just a word of caution. After "upgrading" to version 3.1 (from 3.0), my "server" machine (NT 4.0) was plagued with Critical stops. After removing and reinstalling 3.0, all is well again on the network. Might want to avoid 3.1.

    Regards,

    Eric

Thanks for the heads up! I was planning on upgrading too! I will wait and see what comes about for a while now.

Yes avoid 3.1, I too installed it and it caused more problems than I wanted. So I am back to 3.0.

Seems there are many of us experiencing problems with 3.1. Curiously, when I connect with my linux box, no errors, but with my Win98 box, timeout's, page faults, etc.
