internet connection stops after a while

When i start my internet connection, it works ok for a few minutes, then it seems as if it gets stuck or stops, and the transfer rate drops to nothing, so i have to disconnect and connect again, and everything works ok for a while.

Try changing the modem to phone socket wire( i assume you are using a modem). This worked for me.

What type of connection? If it's a modem, try getting the latest drivers. This usually solves any connection problems with early Winmodems.
