Mac volumes on NT
Have had a Mac volume created at the root of my external SCSI E: drive. Just noticed that some files within that volume could not be seen by Macs, althought they could be seen by PCs on the network.
MS KB article Q164138 talks about this, but have not been able to successfully recreate this volume and get Mac to see it. If I create a volume not at root, Mac sees it fine, including the previously "lost" files.
I have run chkdsk /f /r as instructed, deleted and recreated volume, stopped and restarted File Services for Mac service, restarted server, restarted Mac, etc.
How can I recreate a Mac volume at the root of an NT disk that my Mac can see? I get no errors during creation, and NT thinks all is well; the Mac just can't see it through the Chooser.
