    simple really..just two computers hooked up?

    I was wanting to know (as I have little knowledge of networking) what i would need in order to connect two Windows 95 PCs just so that I can transfer files from one to another and maybe play the odd game. Thanks

    I just did this myself today.

    Basically, all you need is a Direct cable Connector, easily found at your local computer store.

    Just make sure to add a Client, and adapter & a protocol.

    If that doesn't work. Make sure you have;

    Client for Microsoft Networks
    Client for Netware Networks
    Dialup Adapter
    TCP/IP
    NetBEUI
    IPX/SPX compatible protocol &
    File & printer sharing for Microsoft Networks

    have all these on both computers.
