Switching operating sys from F to C drive
Due to my inexperience in switching from IDE to SCSI drives (IDE drive went south) in an NT server environment we had someone come in & do it & he did it ok. I now have my main operating sys on F drive & no C drive. I have another 2gig scsi drive I installed as boot, loaded nt4 & backup program & restored all but boot.ini file. Starts up fine but can no longer get programs on other drive to work & workstations cannot log on. I did search & replace in registry to replace F with C & did same in ini files. Still no luck. )Fortunately I can unhook this drive & go back to other setup & it works ok.) Anyone know what I'm missing?? I'm new to this & inherited alot of problems. Lots of challenges!
