TWEAK DUN. DOES IT WORK?

I'm interested to hear any input regarding TWEAK DUN. I'm using a 56kbps v.everythingwhoopdeedoo modem and I'm getting dl speeds of around 4.5Kbps/sec.
I'm very close to a new phone switching station. When I ping my ISP I average about 200-300ms response. and only 2 hops with trace route. Hoping to not have to shell out for cable...

That's pretty much what I got when I used 56K v90. I now use cable My unlimited local phone line was costing $23 a month and the ISP cost $15 a month for a total of $38, not bad. However, they just put cable in my area. They waived the installation fee and I only pay $41 a month now including taxes. I went from 4.5K/sec to 150K/sec for $3 more a month. I'd have paid the $3 just to get 50K/sec.
