    Aol and networking?

    I set up my uncle's network over the weekend.
    (3 comps and a hub)No problems but i wasn't able to find a proxy server program that surported aol. Any idea's?

    I'd bet that Sygate can manage it. Though I don't know for sure. You could always install a Linux machine with IP masquerading and NAT. SyGate should do it tho, and without the Linux hassle.

    You can get "SPOONPROXY" as it supports AOL I know this as my wife still runs AOL and uses my internet connection as I run spoonproxy for my network.....it has a whole section on their web site that explains what you need to do to have AOL and other things to work!

    WinProxy fom Ositis Software says it supports AOL. Try it. A trial version can be downlaoded at http://www.WinProxy.com/
