Recommendations for a Good PCI NIC

I've run out of IRQs in putting together a new C400 system so in attempting to install an ISA NIC card it always causes W98 to hang during bootup. Is my understanding correct that a PCI card will share IRQs with no conflicts, and if so, which RJ-45 10BaseT card should I go for?

    Thanks

Netgear makes a good one, you can usually
find it for about $20.00, it is 10/100 RJ-45 PCI.

    Netgear FA310TX

    Lots of OS support (Win/linux/novell)

I hear 3com makes good NICS. Try Etherlink III's, easy setup and no problems....HAHAAHAHHAHHAHA!!!!

Just Kidding. Try Bay Networks, they seem to have a good compromise between price, performance and simplicity right now.

I will wholeheartedly endorse Netgear's FA310TX also. I have six of them in a mixed NT/9x environment with a 10/100 autosensing hub also Netgear with flawless, fast performance. About $23 here in Phoenix. As far as sharing IRQ's I have no experience with that on these machines. These cards are PCI cards though. Do you have an open PCI?
