Crossover Cable: Which one?
I need a crossover cable to connect a laptop (with a PCMCIA card) to a normal netowrk card. I was wondering if the "Belkin 6ft Crossover Cable, grey" "A3X126-06CM" from Compusa would be OK for this. Also I am in the UK so do they deliver here?
Thanx for any replies,

As long as one of the NIC's is autosensing 10/100baseT, or both are 10baseT, you shouldn't have a problem with any crossover cable you use.
It should be fine although I have had trouble trying to connect 2 laptops with a crossover cable. Supposedly neither was supplying a heatbeat, connecting both into a hub fixed the problem. I have not had this problem going from a laptop to a desktop (ISA or PCI network card).
