The network has responded incorrectly error

I'm getting this error when accessing my main computer sometimes but other times is fine. I have 3 computers on a 10/base T cat-5 network. Cabling seems fine also, Thanks

1. What protocols are you using?
2. have you tried "pinging" if you are using TCP/IP addresses?
3. from which computer are you having the problem?
4. is it always the same computer?
5. a little bit more information can go a long way in helping us with your problem
