problem with easy cd creator 4 .2 and hp 9110i cd burner

hope someone can help. my new burnner is a hp9110i i installed the software that came with it it has cd creator and direct cd in it. the burnner works great. now i have easy cd creator 4.0 and i installed the software but my burnner is not supported. it had a red circle and and x on the directcd. so i upgraded to 4.2 the red circle is gone but i can't use the program.any help guys
