    Win 95 shutdown problems.only w/network

    We have a bunch of new win 95 machines that hang at the shutdown screen only when logged into the network... any one have any good ideas. We tried a few drivers and none seemed to help..

    Never mind.. Got it fixed. We had to update Internet Explorer to Service pack 1 ... Thanks to the Microsoft web site...

    Disable APM . Advanced Power management. in control panel of POWER ICON....

    Or if you have TSR (anti-viral software) try disable that and shutdown..

    sometimes combination of TSR (mcafee) and APM causing shutdown problems
