I set up a small network at work, on my computer with dail up server so that i could access info at home. It works good, except for the fact that it always tells me when changing drives or folders that the network cannot be browsed. It displays this message several times, but then when i click it, and it goes away, everything works good, file transfers, everything. How can I fix this...both machines are running win98, and at work I set up a:, c:, d:, and a printer to share, I installed tcp/ip, netbeui, isx,everything, and at home, except at home i do not have file and print sharing enabled..is this my prob, or is it something else...Thanks in advance, ALSO...are there any speed tips at all, I only connect to work at 28800 and it's really slow, I know analog lines are a hamper, thought there might be some registry tweaks, or something to speed up networking in general, I'm really new to this...
