    Can't see server...

There is a workstation that is running Windows 95 but can not see the server. The NIC has active link lights...all the client software is loaded correctly (IP Address, Gateway etc.)

When it boots it does not prompt for a network password only the windows login. If there was a problem with the Cat 5 line would the link lights be lit?

Other than that any suggestions on what to check?

    Thanks...

Is attempting to connect to a NT server? If so, I assume that you have set the computer up to log onto NT server? Normally the lights will be lit on the network card if it is working (one might be flashing) at least on my cards it works that way.
