Best board to buy
I am about to build a game machine for a friend. The two companies I like are ASUS and Gigabyte. I will be using a AMD procc.
Can anyone suggest the best board to use.

The "new" Asus A7V266 seems to be the one for your needs. http://hardocp.com/reviews/mainboards/asus/a7v266/
DDR
Very fast and Stable
Highly Overclockable
AGP pro/4x
super tweakable BIOS
Room for large heatsink/cooler
Only downside is that the "Backwards PCI"-AMR slot is ugly in a non symmetrical way.

I would recommend the Epox line of "new boards" 8KTA3,8K7A,8KHA, these are the top of the line in OC'ine, stability, and price. Not just my opinion, read the reviews and you can see for yourself.
One other new board is A7V266 by ASUS

Please do take note that the hardware monitoring (voltage and temperature readings) of Asus boards are sometimes very inaccurate and not worth trusting at all.

Hey all, just checked out prices and I think I'll get the ASUS A7V w/o audio and video.
Thanks for all your advice
