good scsi motherboard
does anyone know where i can find an onboard scsi mobo?
Well, there are many mainboards for AMD and Intel processors that have on-board SCSI controllers. What flavor are you looking for?
In my case, I avoid mainboards with on-board SCSI. Actually, I avoid mainboards with anything that's on-board!
The reason for this is that when on-board devices such as SCSI go south or become outdate, it has to either be sent for repairs along with the mainboard and god knows how long that'll take. I just don't like to have devices on-board that I'm not going to be using when it becomes outdated. In my opinion, PCI SCSI cards would be a better way to go. SCSI Ultra 320 controllers should be seen any time now!
i was looking for a web page with onboard scsi motherboards (amd or intel). do you know any?
You'll notice that mainboards that have on-board SCSI controllers are mostly workstation or servr mainboards, SMP mainboards.
Just do a serach in www.google.com and type "on-board SCSI maonboards" and you'll come across a buch of them...
