New system problems, msi k7t pro2....

I recently built a new system, amd duron 700, and an msi k7t pro2 mobo. During post I get three beeps, this particular mobo revision 2.1 has AMI bios, ami says that the beep code means I have a base 64k memory error, but does not give any solutions. I have checked all three sticks of pc133 I have in both this system and my athalon. Also one of my fan plugs on the motherboard does not appear to work. I have three fan plugs s_fan, P_Fan, and C_Fan. The p_fan in nonfunctional. Is that my processor Fan???? ANY THOUGHTS????

Check all your connections and make sure you havn't gotten something plugged in backwards. Otherwise unplug everything from the board except for the processor and processor fan and see if the fan powers up then. Just to guess I would say you have something from the power supply not correctly plugged in.

The manual should tell you which plug is for CPU fan,
Do not try to start the machine without a heatsink and fan which is working on the CPU!!!!

It is a dual fan in a super orb the bottom fan was working, no worries. If I plug the two fans into the s_fan and c_fan both work.
I only noticed that the p_fan was not working becouse the top fan on my orb was not spinning. My guess is that the fan labeled p_fan is the processor fan and none of the leads are connected on the curcuit board so the board won't boot. I even tried jumping a lead fron the yellow wire on the working fan to the yellow lead on the p_fan plug on the board, no change.

Please don't multiple post on the same problem. Troubleshooting history can't be referenced and confusion will entail. Post once only in the best forum for the topic.

    Thanks.
