Hello invictus. From what I can tell from this board and a couple of other boards I go to on a regular bases. The SA6R isn't used very much. As to why I don't know.
I have been working with a gentlemen in England who has been having problems with a large amount of them he built for a company.
The problem turned out to be the video cards. He had used ATI cards. For some reason they would lock up the computers when you inserted a clip art into M$ word 2000.
Plus ATI has no idea what is happening eather. I have seen one of thier e-mails. It was just a standard e-mail they would send to anyone. Not the type you would send too someone who builds computers for a liveing.
Other than the one problem there. I haven't heard of to much about them. I was thinking about one my self. But I decided to go with the ST6R. It will support the new tualatin cpu when it comnes out. Here is a web link with some good reading. The posts to read very close is Kieth"s.

I am on a BE6-2 right now. I have used a SE6 also. both were good boards. I'm getting ready to build a couple of WB6's for xmas gifts. I like Abit boards.

I have the similar slot 1 SH6 (no RAID). Due, I suspect to the i815E (not EP as on SA6), It sometimes is grouchy about startup/shutdown/restart. And, I haven't been able to get to onboard AC97 sound to work (although I haven't tried a second time). The onboard AGP video is quite good.
