Can I have 3 devices on IRQ 11?

According to Windows 95 OSR2 device manager I have 3 devices on IRQ 11. Windows says there are "no conflicts" with any of these devices. I question this as my video card, ethernet card, and TV card all are on this IRQ. Sometimes when the computer boots it doesn't load the proper display settings and when I'm on the network, I either get disconnected or it's REALLY slow! There's something listed in device manager under IRQ 11 which says something about "PCI Steering." What is this and what does it do? Even though Windows says no conflicts could I still have one? All IRQ's from 0-15 are taken as there's 7 expansion cards in this machine so it's not like I can pick a free one.

    Thanks,
    Jim

all that is happening is that you dont have any irq's free so windows lets them share demanded ports...THIS CAN & WILL cause unstableness to a degree..

    Time for some USB devices?

PCI devices can share IRQs but certain devices may not share them well. I think I remember reading that ISA devices cannot share IRQs.

Anyway, to address your problem: if it is possible by setting the resources manually, try to switch IRQs with your graphics card and another device which is not likely to be in use at the same time as the net card.
