    AX6BC board and Win 98

    Does any one has problem doing a clean installing Win 98 on the AX6BC board and did not reconized the P2 processor to PCI bridge. if anyone found an answer please post it here. Thanx!

    have done it many times and never had a problem..Win 98 should recognize the BX chipset without a problem......

    has eny one tryed puting 128 133 mhz sdram
    in 100MHZ ax6bc motherboard P3 if so did you have eny problems

    No problems here MikeTheTV.
    I did heaps of installs with my ax6bc mb 98,se,NT,linux etc (used a booting prog) as well of reinstalls if I mucked about with it too much and found it to be very user friendly for installing.
    In fact that was part of the reason why I purchased it nearly 2yrs ago - my work was using gigabyte & aopen boards and the ax6bc never gave any probs. I've always updated the bios to the latest (their web site had about 5 over that time) so I dont know whether that helped for me.
    It does sound like a weird problem, did it always do this or is it a new problem?
