    im talking PSU's baby!!

    i hae a k-2 350, 100MHz
    .I wish to upgrade to a duron700. Will I have to uy a new PSU as well(power supply unit).

    That CPU you want to buy will require some power, 300W minimum is suggested. You also have to be sure your current motherboard will run that CPU.

    The CPU is a small drain on the PS, maybe 50W or so. Video cards and drive motors need some, so a 250W supply is recommended for average systems.
