Is it my motherboard?
i recently upgraded my pc to an athlon 800 using a gigabyte GA71XE motherboard and a geforce 2 gts graphics card. i noticed that it kept on crashing so up bought a new PSU at 300w, this hasn't helped. it seems to crash when running games, but i have also noticed that the cpu temperature is running at around 60 degrees C. is this normal?
i looked in the bios settings and it said that the current power fan speed was 0 and the current system fan speed is 0. i know that the fan on the processor is working (aprrox 5000rpm), as is the fan on the video card, so how do i get the other two to work i have also read that athlon motherboards have compatibility problems with geforce cards. is this causing the problems? if so what can i do to remedy it, because it is driving my insane
Thanks in advance
Matthew
