Okay, uncle on motherboard. Your advice, please...
My trouble installing W2K on a PCChips MB (http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/Forum5/HTML/004044.html) is highlighting my obsessive/compulsive nature. My solution? Get a new motherboard. That's where you come in. I'd appreciate your opinion on either a make of MB, or site where MB's are sold etc... with the following criteria:
1) Is capable of running W2K
2) Cost under $100.00
3) Will run with my power supply (has a single, 8-pin {think its eight} connector to the MB)
4) PS-2 conn's okay
5) Has an AGP slot
6) Will accomodate my two 128-pin, 64M Dimm's
Thanks...

I would tell you to get the new Soyo +100 for $99,but the form factor is ATX.It is for Intel engines.
What form factor is your case?
What kind of socket do you need for you processor?
Sorry just saw the other post, couldn't connect of the page above.
You have the AMD,socket 7. I can't help, I never played with the AMD-sorry.

I'd highly recommend the Soyo 5EHM for SS7.
Has everything you asked for & more, usually can be had for about $90 or less.

I've had mine about 1.5 yrs, still running flawlessly. Several friends also have it with no complaints.
