ok, i redid my drive several times only to eventually isolate the problem as the new memory i just bought. brand new, 2 128 chips of pci100 of course. bought em at a show, tested them there, all was ok. until today, i put my old memory back in there and it worked fine. you dont have to change the bus speed of the memory right??? i never had to do that before and i cant see doing it now. i know this board is easy to o'c but i thought you normally leave things on the default setting. any ideas????
one error i got was a vcache error by the way, other ones were windows protection errors upon bootup.
