Question PNP OS on Abit Be6

In the bios there is an option for "PNP OS installed." Is this refering to an operating system such as Windows, and should I enable it?

    Travis:

Enabling that in BIOS will be OK if you are running Win9X or Win2K. WinNT4 is not a PnP OS. Nice MB.

    Thanks for the quick help.

Will enabling this add any performance? Or is it recommended for stability purposes?
